Minster, Judy Ann Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Mary's of Michigan. She was 67 years old. Judy Ann Minster was born on April 29, 1950 to Frederick E. and Ruth Marie (Ruhlig) Minster. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Judy Ann loved to travel and visited all 50 states, many different islands, Mexico and South Africa. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Minster; father and step-mother: Fred and Judy L. Minster; sister, Bonnie Jean (Patrick) Schmidt; nieces and nephew: Ashley (Ken), Dustin, Tammy and Heidi. SERVICE: A service for Judy will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, 7475 E Holland Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Matthew Hauser will officiate with burial to follow. The family will gather to visit at the cemetery on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. I can't even begin to express how much I will miss Judy. Ruth you raised a fine woman, my life is brighter for having known her. Though, right now the universe seems less brilliant. I want all of you to know that you are in my thoughts.

To Judy's parents and family:
I had the privilege of taking care of Judy Minster when she was in her 20s. I was a Neurology Resident at the University of Michigan at the time and I took over her health care sometime around the year 1971 or 1972. She was supposed by other doctors to have an illness called spinocerebellar degeneration. I didn't believe that was the cause of her case. I got her old records and searched until I found a possible explanation tha we could treat. We studied Judy and found she was deficient in certain vitamins. We gave her those vitamins and she got better! Her vision got better and her walking and other ctivities improved remarkably. It was one of the major highlights of my career as a doctor to see her get closer to normal at each visit. Her case was presented in Texas when she came to visit me in San Antonio.
I am so pleased to find out this evening that she remained in good health until her death at age 68 and traveled throughout the USA and around the world!
