Sandra Sparschu

SPARSCHU, Sandra Kay (Sepos), of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at St. Francis Home, surrounded by her family. She was 72 years of age. Sandra Kay Sepos was born on November 28, 1945 in Midland, Michigan to the late Joseph and Josephine (Geiling) Sepos. Sandra married the love of her life, Marvin Gerald Sparschu on January 20, 1968; spending 44 years together before he preceded her in death on May 12, 2012. They enjoyed spending time with their family and friends: boating, fishing, golfing, socializing and particularly chose to spend time at the lake or in New Port Richey where they retired for winters upon retirement. Sandra was committed to the happiness of her kids and grandchildren. Aside from being a wonderful wife to Marvin, being a grandmother may be the role she enjoyed the most. Among many things, she will be remembered for her unforgettable smile and her way with words which could keep any conversations going. Sandra loved her dog, Trapper, who was a rescue from the humane society. Surviving are her daughter, Kristine Call of Saginaw; a son, Brian (Angel) Sparschu of Leander, TX; nine grandchildren: Lanny III (Bree) Call, Cody Call, Nicholas Call, Jackson Ganney, Nathan Ganney, Adam (Megan) Jaenicke, Alivia Sparschu, Lucas Sparschu, and Joseph Sparschu; and a sister, Judy Warner of Midland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Sparschu; parents, Joseph and Josephine Sepos; and father- and mother-in-law, Rudolph and Anne Sparschu. In accordance with Sandra's wishes cremation has taken place. VISITATION- Friends are welcome to visit with Sandra's family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. MEMORIALS- In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a local animal shelter.
