Slagle, Lorraine S. "Sue" of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at St. Mary's of Michigan with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Lorraine Sue Bell was born on January 24, 1946 in Saginaw to the late Clyde and Lota (Jackson) Bell. She married Dale A. Slagle on February 14, 1992; he preceded her in death on October 23, 2017. Sue worked as an office manager for Pioneer Sugar, retiring after many years of dedicated service. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society. Sue loved to sew, but above anything she loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She was very excited for the arrival of her first great-grandchild. Surviving are one daughter: Shari (David) Douglass of Saginaw; two step-children: Scott (Penny) Slagle of Lakeview and Sheryl (Jim) Sullivan of South Carolina; three grandchildren: Joey Balbaugh of Saginaw, Alyssa (Matt) Anderson of Indianapolis, IN, and Nicole Slagle of Midland; two sisters: Joann Coon and Margaret Schultz and two brothers: Clyde "Butch" Bell and Jim (Mary Jo) Bell. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Robinson and Lota Cholcher; sister-in-law, Sandy Bell and a brother-in-law, Ron Coon. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Burial will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends and family are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family c/o Shari Douglass. My favorite memories of dad and sue were the early days when the kids were so little and we would all cram in that tiny apartment they had and she would make this huge dinners, big christmas tree and so many presents that they would be piled halfway up the fireplace. She loved the grandbabies, and would laugh so hard at them. Joey and his pop pies (black olives) stuffed on everyone of his little fingers). We have a good blended family and i will miss you and dad alot!

These are some of my favorite memories, also Sheryl. :two_hearts:
