Bonnie Bowman

Bowman, Bonnie Theresa of Saginaw, Michigan formerly of Fayetteville, North Carolina Passed away on October 25, 2017, after a long and dehumanizing ordeal of living with Alzheimer's disease. As we surrounded Mom in white light, love and energy, she passed from this world to the next after her long journey with Alzheimer's. Bonnie was born July 18, 1929 to William and Lily Mae Bollinger in Zanesville, Ohio. She shared her life with six sisters and two brothers. She met her true and only love, Milton Bowman in 1949. They were married on February 4, 1950 in Kentucky and lived many years as a military family, raising 4 children in various states and countries. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings and her beloved Milt. It is our hope she is finally rejoined with him. She is survived by her four children: Lucinda (Dean) Ikeda of Redmond, WA, Carol (Greg) Crannell of Saginaw, MI, Milton (Connie) Bowman of Georgetown, TX and Terry (Jerry) Kelly of Roy, WA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Our family is dearly and deeply grateful for the outstanding and compassionate care provided by Avielle Haven and their wonderfully kind and caring staff, and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care. They provided the best care that is possible for our mother. There will be no services per mom's request. She will be laid to rest with her beloved Milt at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA, at a later date, for the family.
