Ruth Haller

Haller, Ruth M. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was 92 years old. Ruth Marie Windel was born on January 29, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan. She married Joseph Haller on July 1, 1944 in Detroit; he preceded her in death on November 28, 1994. Ruth was a faithful member of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, St. Helen site. Ruth enjoyed knitting, but nothing more than her grandchildren. She is survived by five sons and two daughters: Richard (Linda) Haller of Saginaw, MI, Dennis (Betty) Haller of Washington Twp., MI, John (Vera) Haller of Sanford, MI, Mark (Natalya Belaya) Haller of Grand Rapids, Joseph (Becky) of Armada, MI, Margaret (Michael) Leckrone of Jacksonville, FL, and Kathy (Don) Parker of Midland, MI; over 70 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Madeline Windel and Bonnie Haller. She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Thomas Haller and brother, Jim. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, St. Helen site, 2445 N. Charles St. Rev. Fr. Ronald F. Wagner will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Saturday morning, Ruth will be taken to church to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
