John Granville

Granville, John B. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on July 24, 2017 at his home, surrounded by family. He was 80 years old. John Bither Granville was born on August 4, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Harry and E. Jane (Khuen) Granville. He married JoAnn Deike; she survives him. John graduated from Saginaw High School in 1954. He later owned and operated Granville Shoes. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and bowling, being outside building things and working on his garden. John is survived by his wife of 61 years, JoAnn; two daughters and one son: Vicki (Bob) Collins, John D. Granville, and Wendy (Joe) Sauve; 8 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Janise (Joe) Zolton of Florida; sister-in-law, Shary (George) Frahm; and cousin, Bill (Mary Jo) Scharffe. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Granville. FUNERAL: A memorial service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. MEMORIALS: Expressions of sympathy may be considered to the donor's favorite charity.
