Kirsten Leigh Mattson, formerly of Saint Albans, WV
Passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, in Saginaw, Michigan.
Born June 17, 1964, Oak Park, Illinois. Kirsten was the daughter of deceased Robert V. Mattson of Yountsville, CA. And granddaughter of Vernon and Marianne Mattson of Mt. Clemens, MI and Tressa Martin, Dunbar, WV.
Kirsten was raised in North Carolina, West Virginia and attended Macomb Community College, Michigan. She practiced veterinarian medicine in Texas, Michigan, and West Virginia to care for her beloved exotic, domestic and farm animals.
Kirsten is survived by her daughter, Kaitlyn E. Mattson, Rockford, MI; mother, Tonie A. Garrett, and step-father, Dieter Garrett, Saint Albans, WV; brother, David Scott Mattson of Ramona, CA; nephews, Cole and Chance; niece, Christian of Austin, TX.; sister, Ashlee Scarcella and Ray Scarcella; niece, Gabriella and nephew Blake; uncle and aunt Danny and Dawna Kessler all of Saint Albans, WV; great aunt Peggy Flowers, Georgia, and many cousins.
