Olvera, Dyana M. of Saginaw, Michigan Loving sister, cousin, niece and friend passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, June 10, 2017. She was 45 years old. Dyana M. Olvera was born on May 28, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Paul S. and Esther (Garcia) Olvera. Surviving are one sister and one brother, Elena Olvera-Martinez and David P. Olvera. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th Ave. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris, OFM Cap will officiate. Honoring Dyana's wishes cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). DEEEE!!! I will never forget this smiling face! I remember when Dee would do all the prep work for the BBQ all the way back to the Eagles club days! She would slice and dice those peppers and onions like nobody's business, and no matter how critical big brother Dave would get, this girl would just keep smiling! "Yes, David". She used to cut the brisket for the chili and separate the fat from the meat. Well, one time she accidentally put a whole tub of fat into the batch of chili, hahaha! Dave was not laughing...but we scooped it all out and no harm done! I remember going to Higgins Lake to sell BBQ for the 4th of July and sweet Dyana slept in the chair just to make sure everyone else was comfortable, that's just the generous, selfless person she was. I used to yell a lot, like randomly, just because I'm loud and she would jump every time and look at me like what thaaaaa? I just remember Dave being like, don't worry, that's just Courtney! But she was just so sweet and quiet and I think I might have scared her a little bit...?Oh Dyana, reunited with your parents, may you rest peacefully in heaven, sister! In Jesus name, I pray that the Good Lord wraps his arms around Dave and Elena at this difficult time and comforts them through their grief. I love you, Olvera Family. God Bless You all! I am forever grateful tat I was able to have sister Dyana in my life. Thanks be to God!
