Frances Ziminski

ZIMINSKI, Frances of Saginaw Twp., Michigan passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Edgewood Assisted Living Center. She was 93 years old. Frances Ruth Young was born on September 2, 1923 in Queens, New York to the late Clarence Leroy and Marion Ruth (Shelsey) Young. She graduated from Columbia University in NYC in June 1945. She married William Robert Ziminski on November 26, 1946; he preceded her in death on March 13, 1990. Surviving are her daughter Kathryn Fischler (nee Ziminski) of Colorado; son, William R. (Kim) Ziminski of New Jersey; two grandsons: Shaun and Kyle Fischler of Denver, Colorado; sister, Dorothy Weiss of Saginaw; brother, Donald (Carol) Young; and numerous nieces and nephews. FUNERAL: A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Edwin C. Dwyer will officiate. Burial of urn will follow the service at St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
