Barbara LaDrig

LaDrig, Barbara L. "Barb" Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper after a lengthy illness. She was 79 years old. Barbara Louise Compeau was born on December 24, 1937 to the late John D. and Rosella (Schaitberger) Compeau. She married James M. LaDrig on August 3, 1957 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Saginaw, he survives her. Barb loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time in her flower garden, making ceramics and singing. Barbara is survived by her husband, James; children: Jim (Irene) LaDrig, John (Brenda) LaDrig, Bill (Katie) LaDrig, Jamie (Craig) Carle, Barbie LaDrig, Robert (Angie) LaDrig and Joseph (Jennifer) LaDrig; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dawn Krueger. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to granddaughter, Michell Brandt, for her loving and compassionate care that she provided to her grandmother. Barb was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Delores Roberts. According to Barbara's wishes her family will gather privately for a service and cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
