Frances Taylor

Taylor, Frances May of Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved aunt passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Country Care Assisted Living of Farwell. She was 96 years old. Frances May Reinecke was born on May 1, 1920 in Essexville, Michigan to the late Herman and Katherine (Bartlett) Reinecke. She married the love of her life, Francis E. Taylor on September 15, 1940; he preceded her in death on October 4, 1976. Fran had been employed at Dawn Donuts for many years. She loved and cherished her beloved pet dogs. Fran was devout and strong in her faith. She enjoyed traveling and fishing with her husband, Francis as well her Uncle Fred and Aunt Josephine Dahl in Au Gres. She will forever be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Country Care Assisted Living, especially to Mark and Carrie. Surviving are many nephews and nieces with a special thank you to two nieces: Kay (Lemmer) Voelker of Saginaw and Joan E. (Lemmer) Farwell-Tessman of Lake. She was preceded in death two brothers: Herman (Marion) Reinecke and Clinton (Josephine) Reinecke; and two sister, Geraldine (Claude W.) Lemmer and Winifred (Thomas) McDermott. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Burial will follow at Whitney Sims Township Cemetery in Au Gres, Michigan. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the First Presbyterian Church in Saginaw. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State).
