Jesse Banda

BANDA, Jesse M. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at his home, surrounded by family. He was 42 years old. Jesse Michael Banda was born on October 17, 1974 in Saginaw to Jesus and Maria (Rubio) Banda. He married Leticia Trevino; she survives him. Jesse worked for the Local 1098. Jesse loved to cook and bake; he also enjoyed movie marathons and watching football. Jesse loved nothing more than his family and being a member of the Power of Ten. Surviving are his parents; wife, Leticia; six children: Selestina Banda, Vicente Rodriguez, Gregoria "Georgie" Banda, and Lori, Victoria, Michael; two sisters: Cynthia (David Krease) Banda and Margarita (Salvador) Barrientes; seven first cousins: Reina Lisa (Matthew) Foster, Lorenzo Banda Jr., Augustin Banda III, Dorian Banda, Angela (Robert) Barnella, Christina (Mike Aguilar) Banda, Robin (Rick) Sausedo; the Pankey family, especially Chuck; close friend, Thomas Satchell; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and Uncle Augustin Banda Jr. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th Ave. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris, OFM Cap will officiate. Private Rite of Committal will follow in St. Andrew Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Compassus Hospice, 401 Center Ave #130, Bay City MI 48708.
