Evelyn Jimenez

Jimenez, Evelyn "Naka" Holland, Michigan formerly of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Holland Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old. Evelyn (Avalina) Flores was born on October 12, 1927 in Texas to the late Abraham and Luz (Garcia) Flores. Evelyn Flores married Julian Jimenez Sr. on April 29, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2000. Naka is survived by her three sons and one daughter: Julian Jr. (Rosemary) Jimenez, Dora Jimenez, Dannie Jimenez, and his friend Amelia Villanueva and Johnny Jimenez; 22 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Chavela) Flores; sister, Emma (Paul) Gomez. Naka will also be missed by many nieces, nephew and extended family and friends. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Naka will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Living Faith Family Ministry, 1902 Stone St., Saginaw. Rev. Frank Gallardo Sr. will officiate. Private burial to take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends and family are welcome to visit at the church on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to Living Faith Family Ministry.
