Obituary
PERROT, Edward Jr., of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on January 1, 2017 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. He was 74 years old. Edward Michael Perrot, Jr. was born on January 20, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Edward Sr. and Blanche (Beardsley) Perrot. He married Kathleen Marion Andrus on January 25, 1969 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Saginaw; she preceded him in death on August 24, 2009 after 40 years of marriage. He loved watching sports, especially watching his sons and grandchildren play sports, smoking his pipe, drinking coffee, reading the newspaper, and relaxing. Ed enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and grandchildren. Ed is survived by three sons: Eric (Sherrie) Perrot of Bay City, Michael (Anna) Perrot of Grand Rapids, and Geoffrey (Jessica) Perrot of Farmington; four grandchildren: Ella, David, Abigail, and Elizabeth; and two sisters: Judy (Peter) Pohlman and Susan (Thomas) Dodak. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church - St. Andrew site, 612 N. Michigan Ave. Rev. Fr. Ronald F. Wagner will officiate. Following Mass, military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Army. Private Rite of Committal will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State St.) on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Vigil for Ed will be held on Friday night at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Ed will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Disabled American Veterans. I have good memories growing up down the street from Uncle Mike, Aunt Kathy and the boys. He was always happiest when he was surrounded by his family! I am attaching several pictures from a recent family reunion where everyone had a wonderful time on sunny day.

I have so many memories of my Perrot cousins, Judy, Mike and Sue and the good times we shared at my grandparent's cottage at Crystal Lake. Swim all day and then ride the merry-go-round in the evening. Then our mumzie would make carmel corn for us. The good old days are now gone but the memories live on and bring a smile to our faces. It feels as our family is shrinking but that is life. He will be missed.
