Celia Sharko

SHARKO, Celia J. of Saginaw Twp., Michigan passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at HealthSource of Saginaw. She was 94 years old. Celia Josephine Louchart was born on November 5, 1922 in St. Charles, Michigan to the late Arthur and Virginia (Brichot) Louchart. She married Nick Sharko on October 5, 1940; he preceded her in death on January 20, 2008. In her spare time, Celia enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Tena (Allen) Vincent; six grandchildren: David (Tina) Babcock, Nicki Barror, Krystal Gilles, Nicholas Gilles, Nathan (Nicole) Vincent, and Joseph Vincent; four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Carol Sharko. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Nick; son, Delbert Sharko; six brothers; and two sisters. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Robert Richards will officiate. Private burial will take place at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Ronald McDonald House.
