Paul, Jeffrey M. Saginaw Twp., Michigan Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison, surrounded by his family. He was 66 years old. Jeffrey M. Paul was born on August 2, 1950 in Circleville, Ohio to the late John R. Sr. and Rita J. (Maiden) Paul. He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War. Jeff was a Union Commercial Roofer and foreman within the roofing industry for over 30 years. After his retirement Jeff enjoyed working for the Saginaw Commission on Aging. Jeff was proud to be a buckeye and an Ohio State fan. He was an outdoorsman and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing. Jeff was an amateur radio operator who enjoyed speaking with people around the world. He will forever be remembered for his generosity, and his kind heartedness for family and friends. Jeff is survived by his children: Crystal (Steven) Wilson, Jordan Paul and Rachel Paul; grandchildren: Dallas, Micah and Jaida Wilson; brother, John R. Jr. "Jack" (Mary) Paul; sisters: Krista (Robert) Bizzell and Shelby Clark; his former wife and close friend, Julie Paul. Jeff will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his son, Marshall Steven Paul; father, John R. Paul, Sr.; mother, Rita J. Paul Clark; and brothers, Steven T. Clark and Paul B. Clark. FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held for Jeff at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State). Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Burial and military honors under the auspices of the United States Army and American Legion Post #439 will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends and family are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the Paul Family C/O Crystal Wilson. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Jeff's family during this very sad and difficult time. Jeff began volunteering here at the Saginaw County Commission on Aging three years ago as a Meals on Wheels Driver. He was very soft spoken but always friendly and ready to help those in need. He was committed to servicing our home bound seniors.
Jeff spoke often of his family. He was a proud American. He was also a loyal Ohio State Football fan, for which he took a lot of "teasing" from his colleagues here at COA! He prided himself on wearing either his U. S. Army hat or his Ohio State hat:-)
We will truly miss our "favorite Buckeye Fan" and Friend. Rest in peace now Jeff,

Krista, Shelby and Jeff's family so sorry for your loss of a great father, grandfather and brother. I remember Jeff from so many years ago. He was a kind man with a contagious smile. I pray all your wonderful memories help you through this difficult time. Jeff is at Peace and the Heavens have gained a beautiful Angel.

Jeff and I worked everyday together at the Flint truck plant for three years. What a character... so funny he will be sadly missed. My prayers go out to the whole Paul family. Rest in peace ol buddy!
