Cesario Hernandez

Passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. He was 74 years old. A native of Saginaw, born February, 1942, to Cresencio and Santiaga (Meza) Hernandez; he has lived in Saginaw his entire life. Cesario retired from General Motors, was a member of the U.A.W, and a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved antique cars and especially loved driving them. Cesario also enjoyed playing pool and traveling the world. However, this is not to forget his willingness to help anyone whomever needed it. He is survived by his sisters: Florence Sandoval of Winter Haven, FL, Dr. Rose Hernandez of Arizona, Marie Salcedo and Delores Ornelas, both of Saginaw and Irene Lowing of Jenison, Ml. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Cesario was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Salvadore and Margarito (Richard) Hernandez; and a sister, Justina Guerra. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th Ave. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris, OFM Cap will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family will pray the rosary at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening, followed by a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Cesario's family will recite prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.
