Rosemary Whelton

Our wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her home, surrounded by family. She was 66 years old. Rosemary Elizabeth Whelton was born on September 30, 1950 on Fort Clayton in the Panama Canal Zone, Central America to the late Thomas H. and Angeline (Gardner) Parramore. She married Frederick H. Whelton on January 31, 1970 at St. Christopher's Church in Sunnymead, CA; he survives her. Rosemary graduated from Moreno Valley High School with the Class of 1967. She was employed by Consumers Energy as a coordinator for the gas main department. Rosemary enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, sewing, crafting, and her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 46 years, Fred; two sons: Mark (Jenny Roche) and Brad (Megan); four grandchildren: Cara, Keegan, Makena, and Jack; brother, Thomas Parramore; sister, Kathleen Parramore; and niece, Jessamy Miller. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Paul. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State) on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
