Barbara Landskroner

Barbara J. Landskroner, 76, most recently of Howard, OH passed away with her family by her side on September 30, 2016. Born in Saginaw, MI she met her husband, Roy Landskroner, while working at Central Foundry. After marrying, they raised four children together in Saginaw and Lancaster, PA, eventually retiring to Apple Valley, Ohio. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was an interior designer, business owner, and devoted animal lover. She held many interesting full and part time jobs and was always up for a new challenge, including one behind a studio camera. She also volunteered her time as a member of the East Knox Lions Club, receiving the Lion of the Year Award for her coordination of their cookbook. She loved her family, cherishing the times when everyone came to "The Lakehouse" for her welcoming cooking, lake activities, picture taking, and just to have a good time. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roy Landskroner and their children: Dawn Reese (Jeffrey), Elizabethtown, PA, Debra Kuhlman (Roger) of Ringwood, NJ, Dana Landskroner of State College, PA, and Deidre Yoder (Ian MacKinnon) of Newtown, CT; six grandchildren: Emily, Caity, Nicholas, Elizabeth, David, Lauren; five step-grandchildren: Jillian, Lindsay, Katelynn, David and Madalyn; one step-great-grandchild, Silas; brother, Gerald (Judy) Misekow. She is preceded in death by her parents: Nicholas and Marie Misekow; brother, Kenneth; and grandsons: Matthew and Ryan. MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Paul R. Hinz will officiate. Burial of Barbara's cremated remains will follow the service on Saturday at St. Andrew Cemetery, Saginaw. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
