Anthony Lagalo

Lagalo, Anthony "Tony" R. Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed peacefully at Tidewell Hospice House Port Charlotte, FL on September 10, 2016 with his wife and two daughters by his side. Tony was born August 22, 1935 in Saginaw, MI to the late Ralph and Virginia (Przybylowicz) Lagalo. Graduated from Saginaw High School in 1954 and completed two years of college at Bay City Junior College. Tony was well known in Saginaw for being in the restaurant business, lastly being part owner of Tony's Fashion Sq Blvd from 1995-2001. He was the Past President of the Saginaw Exchange Club, Past 1st Vice President of the Sons of Italy Grand Lodge, Past Master and life member of Saginaw Masonic Lodge #77 F. & A.M., and Life member of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine, serving as Potentate in 2002. Tony loved spending time outdoors and with his family. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Sharon and two daughters: Tiffany (Rollie) Fuller of Cumming, GA and Sherri (Scott) Callahan of Saginaw, MI; his grandchildren: Abigail, Emily, and Natalie Fuller and Kaitlyn, Hunter, and Owen Callahan; brother, Robert "Jibber" (Barbara) Lagalo; sister-in-law, Karen (Don) Moraczewski; father-in-law, Floyd Clements; many nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Stormy. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, and mother-in-law, LaFern Clements. The family would like to thank the Tidewell Hospice House for their, care, comfort and compassion during Tony's final hours. Per Tony's wishes cremation has taken place. The family would like to welcome visitors at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, MI from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 with a Shrine Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Nitz will officiate a family burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Transportation Unit at Elf Khurafeh Shrine Center.
