Naegele, Barbara Ann of Georgetown, Florida formerly of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She was 69 years old. Barbara Ann Halm was born on March 8, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Alfred L. and Ruth E. (Bellenbaum) Halm. She was a proud graduate of Ss. Peter & Paul High School. Following graduation she married Daniel C. Owens on February 15, 1969 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church; he preceded her in death on April 9, 1999. She later married Wesley Naegele on April 13, 2004; he preceded her in death on February 22, 2007. Barb was employed with Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring in 2006 with over 30 years of service. She was a former member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Barb enjoyed attending auctions, scrapbooking and fishing. Above all, she loved and cherished her dogs: Emma and Atlis. Surviving are a son, James A. (Kimberly) Owens of Saginaw; a daughter, Aimee A. (Keith) Konkus of Carrollton; five grandchildren: Daniel L. Owens, Chloe Mclearn, Brittani Owens, Breanna Owens, and Karlie Konkus; two sisters, Mary Jo Krause of Crescent City, Florida, and Patricia Halm of Lansing. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen M. Owens; and a brother, Ralph H. Halm. FUNERAL: A Memorial Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate. Honoring Barb's wishes cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the ASPCA. Barb was the smiling face and energetic classmate that made school a lot of fun! Many of Barb's classmates from St Peter and Paul grade and high school have been emailing each other about our fond memories of her. Our sympathies and prayers are with her family.

I have many memories with Barb especially in grade school; birthday parties etc ; Plus many walks home in high school as her house was on my route; I am so sorry that her last years were full of sorrow and pain.

I am so sorry to hear of of Barb's passing. I have such amazing memories of this funny, goofy friend and the good times we all had in high school. She was a treasure to all. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to her family. I know God's light is shining upon her.

We were so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. We have such fond memories of her in both grade school and high school. She always lit the room with her beautiful smile and bubbly personality. I am sorry to hear about Barb's passing. I first met her while transferring into St. Pete's high school in 9th grade. We were always friends, and after graduation we would see each other on the factory floor at Saginaw Steering gear and exchange stories about the "good-ole-days" from high school. Barb always had a smile.
