Obituary
FANGER, Terry W. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at HealthSource Saginaw. He was 67 years old. Terry Wayne Fanger was born on November 17, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan to Donald and Betty (Weiss) Fanger; they both survive him. He married Janet Glick on February 14, 2002; she survives him. Terry earned a Bachelor's of fine arts degree at Wright State University. He was employed at Delphi for 34 years until his retirement in 2006 and then worked part-time at EZ Pro Delivery. He loved to garden, read, art, photography, classical music, fine food, volunteering at Amazing Grace Animal Rescue and participating in sports, especially volleyball. Terry was a quiet man with a very kind heart. You will be sadly missed, but are now at peace. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 14 years, Janet; a daughter and a son: Shannon (Raymond III) Eddy and Adam Fanger; a step-son and a step-daughter, twins: Adam Glick and Hannah Glick; two grandchildren: Raymond Eddy IV and Beckett James Miller; two sisters: Kay (Richard) Hoeferkamp and Joy (Denny) Hoskins; and many nieces and nephews. Terry loved his furchildren: Harley, Grace, Miss Kitty, and Pumpkin, and also, grand-furchildren: Lucy, Norton, Mya, and Pebbles. The family would like to thank all of the HealthSource staff for their care and friendship the last two years, especially Janice, Bobbi Jo, and Pam and for the guidance provided by Heartland Hospice Care. MEMORIAL: Memorial Services will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Old Town Christian Outreach Center, 600 Gratiot Ave., Saginaw 48602. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Old Town Christian Outreach Soup Kitchen, Amazing Grace Animal Rescue or any no-kill rescue or shelter of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State).
