Erma Bohnhoff

Bohnhoff, Erma Jean of Saginaw, Michigan, Beloved mother and aunt passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre. She was 95 years old. Erma Jean Scott was born on September 7, 1920 in Fairgrove, Michigan to the late James R. and Belle E. (Ruger) Scott. She married the love of her life, Robert H. Bohnhoff on December 5, 1945 in Fairgrove; he preceded her in death on August 10, 1981. She was a member of Warren Avenue Methodist Church, Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church and Ames Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, John R. Bohnhoff of Saginaw. Also surviving are many special niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brother and three sisters: Eva Marie Sheldon, Elmo Scott, Leona Horne, Victor Scott, Morris Scott, and Emma Lou Druit-Thrall; three brothers-in-law: Walter Bohnhoff, Elmer Bohnhoff and Paul Bohnhoff; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Larson and Lillian Pauquette. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Robert Richards will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at the funeral home or through www.deislerfuneralhome.com.
