Edwina Loibl

Loibl, Edwina "Boo Boo" Stair of Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Samaritas Senior Care of Saginaw. She was 79 years old. Edwina Stair Pohlman was born on April 22, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Clarence Edwin and Elizabeth Jane (MacArthur) Pohlman. She was a proud 1955 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Boo was formerly employed by Garber Pontiac Cadillac and waitressed for the Florentine Inn and the Olive Garden. Boo was a master crossword puzzle solver and an extremely hard worker. She also enjoyed cooking, especially for family gatherings and friends. She will always be remembered for being kind, generous and above all for selflessly giving to anyone in need. Surviving are two daughters: Brenda Sikora of Saginaw, and Shari Dalton of Saginaw; four grandchildren: Sarah (Jeremy) Vasey of Freeland, Hailey Bauer of Reese, Christopher Paier of Reese, and Adam Paier of Reese; two great-grandchildren: Cianna and Easton Vasey; a brother, Thomas (Ann) Pohlman of Saginaw; and Roger Paier of Reese. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julianne Loibl. FUNERAL: A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Andrew LaFramboise will officiate. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
