Toniann Marcus

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, significant other and friend passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. She was 41 years old. Toniann Marie Marcus was born on December 20, 1974 in Grand Rapids to the late Thomas Towne and Patricia Ann Marcus. Toni loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed family gatherings in the summer at the park or holiday gatherings. Toni will forever be remembered for her outgoing and friendly nature, her selflessness and her ability to not judge anyone. Surviving are a son: Christopher Marcus and his fiancée, Tacie Williams of Saginaw; a daughter Danielle DeGarmo of Grand Rapids; two grandchildren: Dalton and Moya Williams; one sister, Kandy Bullis and her boyfriend, Steve Miller of Saginaw; three brothers: Vernon Marcus, Jr. of Grand Rapids, Rick Marcus of Grand Rapids, and Thomas Towne, Jr., of NY; a significant other, Michael Rosebrock of Saginaw; a step-father, Vernon (Marianne) Marcus, Sr.; and her best friend, Tim Turner. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Honoring Toni's wishes cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at her home at a later date.
