Dear Don, Janet, Kate and extended family,
Aunt Marsha to our family-----always loving, non-judgmental, supportive, a smile of joy, and always a warm hug for all of us especially our mom Pat Zolinski. I always felt Aunt Marsha loved us and that was a special feeling. The entire Spence family has always been there for our family. Uncle Bud and Aunt Bev shared the Spence family with us as we struggled growing up and your endless inclusion still means the world to all of us.
Speaking personally, I have always looked up to your mom and dad, both terrific people who always demonstrated the importance of laughter in life, honesty in communication , a work ethic that models strength and humility, discipline for actions and decisions, and love. Aunt Marcia was always gentle, kind, loving, and interested in me. There was nothing more important than knowing other adults approved of you. Aunt Marcia made me feel very loved.
I too will miss Aunt Marcia just as I have missed Uncle Gondy (not sure how he spelled it..smile) but will celebrate what they gave to us. Your parents were special to our family and we loved them very much.
I know you will celebrate her legacy of love of family, music, and education for many, many years. Please share a hug from Texas as we hold you all in our prayers.
With love,
Scott Zolinski

Dear Janet, Don, Cate and families...,
i am holding you all closely in my thoughts and prayers and sending you much love. Your mom was a very special person and such an influence for good in all she accomplished here. At our extended "family" gatherings growing up at Aunt Bev and Uncle Bud's or at your grandparents' house, or at The Point, your mom always expressed genuine love and kindness and interest in others. I also loved her sweet smile and infectious laugh. I remember too observing your mom and dad's special marriage and what a fine example they left for us all. And now I'm sure they've reunited with joy because we know as stated in the scriptures, in Romans,
"the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Life is surely going on with them. May you all be comforted by God's tender love and care at this time. Sending so much love, your "cousin" Jody (Z) Wilkinson
