Obituary
Our loving sister, aunt and friend passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Saginaw Geriatrics Nursing Home. She was 70 years old. Ann Elizabeth Sullivan was born on October 10, 1945, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Dorner) Sullivan. She graduated from St. Mary's Cathedral with the Class of 1963. She would attend St. Mary's Cathedral, now known as the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, her whole life. She made a career in banking administration. In her spare time, Ann enjoyed classic cars; she owned a 1955 white-over-robin-egg-blue Chevy. She also was a home care giver for many people. Ann will be missed by her brother, Lawrence Sullivan of Saginaw; nephew, Joshua Sullivan of St. Petersberg, FL; and niece, Carrie Ann Sullivan of Jersey City, NJ; special friend, Tom Vitek; dear friends: Marge Sienko and Dorothy Doak; and numerous other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Timmie Sullivan and Edward Sullivan Jr.; and special dog, Angel. FUNERAL: A funeral liturgy service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at The Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., 48607. Rev. Fr. Andy Booms will officiate. Cremation will follow Mass. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution to the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). I am so sorry to hear of Ann's passing. Back in the day, we were neighbors. My brother was friends with her brother, Larry.

I went to grade school and high school with Ann, sharing twelve years at St. Mary's. Our class got together last summer for lunch and to share our collective 70th birthdays. I am so glad I had the opportunity to visit with her at that time. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. May Ann rest in God's peace.

I have such sweet memories with my aunt. On a trip to a car show (where she won best in show for her '55 Chevy) we stopped at a clothing store and bought a matching pair of stylish jeans. She would have let me wear hers even though I had my own, thats just the kind of person she was. She's with my dad now and they are watching over us. I love you my sweet, caring, "best in show" in life and now best in heaven Aunt Ann!

Ann was one of kind person. She was loved by many friends. She would have given her shirt off her back if she had too. We want to thank her for her many rides in driving her classic 1955 Chevy Bel-Air. She will be truly missed and her family is in my prayers.
