Burris, Sharon Marie Saginaw Twp., Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital Saginaw. She was 66 years old. Sharon Marie Furlo was born in Saginaw on December 9, 1949 to the late Louis and Veronica (Smith) Furlo. Sharon proudly graduated from Douglas McArthur High School. Following graduation, she married David E. Burris on February 7, 1970 in Saginaw, and he survives her. Together, Sharon and David owned and operated David's Catering for over 40 years. Sharon's true gift and passion came for preparing magnificent Italian cuisine dishes; recipes passed down to her from her beloved grandmother, Valia. She was also an avid painter. Sharon had a "green thumb" which was evident in her beautiful flower gardens. She had a soft spot in her heart for her many beloved Pugs, and her cat, Mouser. Sharon is survived by her husband, David; sons: Ty David Burris and Brett (Christine) Burris; grandsons: Brandon Burris and Harrison (Kelsey) Burris; great granddaughter, Zoey Burris; sisters: Karen (Tim) McLaughlin and Debbie Furlo; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Richard) Beauch; special niece and nephew: Stephanie Miller and Christopher Miller; special friends, Linda Kutsch and Suzanne Leonard. Sharon is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Amy Furlo; brother, Louis Furlo, Jr. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Sharon will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State). Deacon Roger Pasionek will officiate. Private entombment will follow at Oakwood Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. David, Brett, Ty, Dorothy and all of Shari's family-All of my deepest condolences to you all that were touched by Shari. All I have are smiling, laughing memories of Shari, despite her battles, she kept on smiling and continuing on life's journey. Now she is unburdened and free from her ills, and is up there, with her Lord. These are the fond memories I have of Shari.

Dear Dave, Brett, and Ty,
I was so sorry to hear that Shari passed away. I met all of you when you lived on Newberry Street. I started babysitting Brett when he was 3 years old and Ty was 3 months old. All of you were like a second family to me.
Shari was such a warm, friendly, giving, and caring person. Family was always so important to her. She had an infectious smile and was as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside.
She was a great role model and I learned so much about life by spending time with her. Shari was a wonderful person and she will always have a special place in my heart.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Shari. She was such a very generous and loving person to me and others as well I'm sure. We spent a lot of time working side by side and had a lot of fun times together despite the hard work. She was always very welcoming. He presence will be missed. Hi Dave and family, This is Jeri Crispell, I am sending my condolences to you and your family. Dr. Todd Marino's office and myself wish to send our deepest sympathy to all of you. We enjoyed Sharon and I was happy to get reacquainted with her over the past few years at our office. I will miss visiting with her, I enjoyed visiting all of you during the 1980's, I am so sorry for your loss. I will sooooooo miss her. She brightened my day when she came in.
