Sophia Flores

Sophia Rose Flores, age 1 month and 24 days, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2016 surrounded by her parents and her grandmother, Liz at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. She weighed 5 pounds and was 17 inches long. Sophia was born on January 19, 2016 and is the daughter of Monique Flores and Shakille Ford. Even though she spent just a brief moment on this earth, she brought much joy to her family as they were able to hold her close and feel the love they shared. Her memory will be cherished by her parents; grandparents: Liz Ontiveroz and Salvador Flores and Fred Peterson and Allison (Steve) Ford; great-grandparents: Guadalupe Flores, Liz (Matt) Sandoval, and Rick Ontiveroz; four aunts and one uncle: Anna (Jesse) Teneyuque, Santino Ontiveroz, Selena Ontiveroz, Essence Flores, and Nytalia Flores; special cousin, Jayce Parham; and as well as her great aunts and uncles and other family members. Sophia was preceded in heaven by her namesake, great-great-grandmother, Rosa Ontiveroz and many other great-grandparents. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Taurus Simpson, Sr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
