Uncle John was a very caring man. He always helped our family in any way possible with no complaints. Truly we have lost a dear family member. May he rest in peace and may the Robison family rest assured that he is now home where there are no physical ailments. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Christi and John, You had a wonderful relationship with your "dad." Through the both of you, I know he enjoyed his road trips to GR. Christi, he was so proud of the lady you grew into... although you were always his little girl. He never stopped teaching you, and you never stopped listening, whether it was working under the hood of a car, or offering you advise... he never stopped being your daddy. I know this because I've been in your lives for a long time, and saw the love shine through. He was such a nice man and he will be greatly missed. When someone dies, an angel is there to meet them at the gates of Heaven to let them know that their life has just begun. Very sorry for your loss my dear friends. Mary Ellen and Joe Freyre

I knew John for many years. He was always jolly and forever lending a helping hand to someone; be it car repairs, a few dollars or a shoulder to cry on. He will be sorely missed by many. Pat Schumacher, Indianapolis, Indiana

One of my best memories with grandpa was definetly him shooting spit balls at me through a straw at the dinner table! He always managed to get me and definetly brought a smile on both our faces. Trying to get him back was the hardest thing ever! My mom always caught me at the wrong time! Grandpa was definetly a joker and always managed to make me laugh. Taking pictures also was a struggle because we would have to take a million because he would be tickling me and i wouldnt stay still. Im gonna miss him soo much while at a boring dinner table and have no one to have a spit ball war with. Everytime we traveled up to Michigan visiting him was the light of my day. And i will definetly miss your visits. My mom told had told me stories about how he would drive all the way from Michigan down to Louisiana just to be there when i was born. Even in times where he was sick he would still manage to come visit us in Georgia. I know you are in a better place now grandpa i love you and you will be missed ill see you on the other side! Your grand daughter Micaela
