Georgie Hopper

I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with George for many years. I always valued his work and willingness to work with children with challenges. Even the few times it was necessary to have some "frank conversations" with George, he handled them with grace and dignity beyond his chronological age. I was blessed to run into him a couple of times after I left the school system and totally enjoyed those encounters. I was devastated with the news of his passing. Prayers are being sent in behalf of his children and wife. I extend my sincere sympathy to both Penny and Matt, who I also had the opportunity to work with. May the Peace of the Lord be with all of George's family. Bill Hartl
