Aileen Grierson

Aunt Aileen was a beautiful person outside and in - such a joyful smile and loving caring personality. She always remembered us & our family and was genuinely happy to see us and catch up with our lives. We know she will be sorely missed - she was well loved by her family, as she loved them. May her children & grandchildren and family & friends remember her with love & gratitude and be comforted to know she is now in Heaven with her beloved Uncle Wendell. It was an honor & pleasure to know and love them both. It was wonderful that Aunt Aileen could come to David & Courtneys wedding shower last summer and that she was able to host the family party in November that so many attended. Aileen was a fine lady and a wonderful neighbor over the almost eighteen years we lived next door to her and Wendell. When Wendell passed away in 2006 Aileen asked Liz and I if we had any plans to move in the near future. We assured her we planned to be her neighbor for along time. I think that made her feel good. Aileen had the best cheesecake and carrot cake ever and always sent us one over when some of our family was in town or she had been doing her baking for her family. We will miss her as a neighbor, but more as a friend. Liz & Jack
