Teneyuque, Richard "Rich" of Lake Orion, Michigan formerly of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the age of 44. He was born on July 7, 1971 to Richard and Maria (Compian) Teneyuque in Saginaw, Michigan. Rich was married to Elaine Reinhardt on April 10, 1999 in Saginaw; she survives him. He was a 1989 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation he attended Saginaw Valley State University and proudly received his Bachelor's degree from Baker College. Rich was an avid Michigan State University fan. He enjoyed playing the guitar, watching the Star Wars films, and playing video games. Above all, Rich loved and cherished spending time with his children and family. He will forever be remembered for his courage, strength, love of family, and his indomitable spirit. Surviving are his wife Elaine Teneyuque of Lake Orion; a son, Richard Teneyuque, III; a daughter, Jasmine Teneyuque; two step-children: Vincent and Santino Gonzales; two grandchildren: Aalyiah and Ashton Gonzales; his parents, Richard and Maria Teneyuque of Saginaw; a brother Tony (Michele) Teneyuque of Saginaw; a sister Cynthia (Homero) Teneyuque-Barrera of Saginaw; and a grandmother, Gloria Teneyuque of Saginaw. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Juan Teneyuque, Pascual and Dolores Compian; two uncles: Juan Teneyuque, Jr. and Juan Yrlas. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Inez Yrlas will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family c/o Maria Teneyuque. I will always smile when I think of that happy face you put on my computer and wait all the computers in the office!! Oh was Melinda mad...and when IT department come out, ya they were so mad, it was so funny...they should have hired you in our IT department!

Rich was one of the strongest, hard working guys I knew. I knew him for many years. We met working at qek on lapeer road. He eventually moved on as so did I but we always kept in touch mainly through video games. I knew he was constantly fighting cancer and he told me gaming kept him going. He is the nicest, most caring guy I've ever met and he will be greatly missed.

Rich was a hard worker and had a great positive attitude everyday. I cannot recall Rich having a bad day at work and that is not easy to do working in an IS department. Employees and teammates asked how Rich was doing constantly. He took on a lot of responsibility while he worked for us and always took the initiative to fix issues on his own. He has been sorely missed by his Dort family. RIP.
