Hernandez, Guadalupe P. "Lupe" Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 85 years old. Guadalupe Perez was born on February 25, 1930 in Hondo, Texas to the late Gustavo and Juanita (Mondonado) Perez. She married Socorro Moncado Hernandez; he preceded her in death in 1991. Lupe was a wonderful mother who loved to care for her family and prepare meals for them. She loved to sew, and her tenderness will be carried on with them. Guadalupe is survived by her sons: Jerry, Noel and Gino Hernandez; daughters: Tina (Richard) Reyes and Angie Cruz; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters: Corina Amaro and Ernestina Mendoza; and a brother, Bentura Perez Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, daughter: Teodora (Toye) Osuna; sister, Alvira Ruiz and brother, Santos Perez. Lupe's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Grace Hospice of Bay City, Visiting Physicians Association and Primary Home Care for the wonderful care and support they offered to Lupe. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Lupe will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State). Rev. Frank Gallardo will officiate with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Also on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
