There are so many memories with "Uncle" Jack and the whole family up at the cabin. One time I was sick and could not go with the gang for the day and had to stay home. Jack, and my dad decided I needed to get out of the cottage for awhile, so they took me into town (Long Lake) with them. I got to sit at the bar stools with them and have ginger ale. Also Jack and I share the same birthday and that was special to me. Phyllis Nowland.

Jack was certainly a wonderful man. Our family has great memories of times we spent with he and Doris while they were at Jeff and Kim's during the holidays through the years.
