Jerry Jablonski

JABLONSKI, Jerry D. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on September 26, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. He was 71. Jerry Dean Jablonski was born on November 22, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Louis and Rilla (Dean) Jablonski. He married Sally K. Mackrain on May 29, 1965 in Houghton, MI; she survives him. Jerry graduated from Midland Senior High with the Class of 1961. He worked for Saginaw Steering Gear - Delphi for 42 years until his retirement in 2009. Jerry was a charter member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, and hunting. Jerry enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and helping others. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Sally; one son and one daughter, Anthony (Gretchen) Jablonski and Connie (Chad) Madison; four grandchildren: Alexander and Kristin Jablonski of Oklahoma City and Adrienne and Allison Jablonski of Grand Blanc; brother, Thomas Jablonski; step-brother, Jerry (Sally) Putnam; and many other family members and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and one son and one daughter, Michael Jablonski and Tammy Jablonski. FUNERAL: Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Road, 48603. Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State) on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night. On Friday morning, Jerry will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time at Mass.
