Richard Brown

BROWN, Richard "Rick" A. of St. Louis, Michigan, formerly of Saginaw, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot. He was 66 years old. Richard Allen Brown was born on September 8, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Alfred and Margaret (Rousseau) Brown. He married Nancy Davis on November 1, 1976; she preceded him in death on July 10, 2011. Rick graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1967. He would work as a machinist and roofer. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed fishing and being with his grandkids. Surviving are one son, Shane Brown; five step-children including Tanya; many grandkids and great-grandkids; one sister, Sandra VanTassel; one brother, Russell Brown; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Nancy and one brother, Larry Brown. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Cremation will follow. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Mt. Olivet.
