Every Fitch/Gohm Family gathering was always brighter and more cheerful due to the good natured spirit of my friend Carl Gohm. He always had something pleasant to say or a story to tell that would lift all who heard his voice. My brother simply could not have had a better father-in-law than Carl and I was proud to call him my friend. Carl was a blessing to his friends and family and I will miss him. I know God is taking very good care of one of his faithful right now. May God bless and comfort all of his family during this difficult time.
John 10:27-28 King James Version (KJV)
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Very sorry to hear of Carl's passing. He and Rosemary were our neighbors for 38 years. They were great neighbors and friends. We were just talking about them this past weekend in Great Lakes Naval Station at our grandsons graduation from boot camp. Carl would of been very proud of him. He watched Johnathon for the first 6 years of his life growing up across the street. Mike and I feel bad that we can't make it back for the funeral. We came home with bad colds. Please know that we have you Rosemary and your family in our prayers.Mike & Mary Simmons

I only knew Carl through our attendance at the Saginaw YMCA. We shared the same locker area many times and had some interesting conversations about a number of topics. He was a very kindly and sincere man, and I was impressed with his keeping involved with life, even though he informed me that he had a terminal illness. He was so courageous in a quiet and reserved way. I will miss our interaction.
