Ruth Fritz

Fritz, Ruth E. of Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved sister and aunt passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at St. Mary's of Michigan with her family by her side. She was 86 years old. Ruth Elizabeth Fritz was born on January 21, 1929 in Saginaw to the late, Harry A. and Katherine M. (Weber) Fritz; she was the 11th of 13 children. Ruth was employed as a telephone operator with Michigan Bell for over 43 years. She was born again into the family of God, the Christian Faith, in September of 1956. Ruth was a member of both Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Saginaw and Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen. She enjoyed singing in the choir and being avidly involved with her nieces and nephews. Above all, Ruth loved and cherished her time with family and friends. Surviving are a brother, John (Dorothy) Fritz of Saginaw; and many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-nieces, great nephews, and one great-great-niece. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Arthur, Elmer, Albert, Harold, Edward, Walter, Esther, Louise, Eleanor, Harriet, and Marge. FUNERAL: A Memorial Service will take place on 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Robert Richards will officiate. Honoring Ruth's wishes cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until the time of the Service.
