Obituary
Gloria J. Sova passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant, MI. She was 85 years old. Gloria Juanita Sova was born on December 23, 1929 in Cheboygan, Michigan to the late Emory and Mildred (Brunner) Sova. Gloria loved old cars and the Henry Ford Museum. Surviving are three brothers: Eugene (Barb), Harvey (Barb), and Jim (Joan); three sisters-in-law: Marlene, Judy, Patricia; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine sisters and brothers: Doris VanSlembrouck, Frank, Lorraine Piotrowski, Ralph, Howard, Marvin, Jack, Jacqueline Waybrant, Baby Helen, and Steve. FUNERAL: Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd., 48609. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspany will officiate. Cremation will follow. Rite of Committal of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Cheboygan, MI. VISITATION: Friends may visit the family at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Arrangements have been entrusted to Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to charity of the donor's choice.
