Billy you truly will be missed my brother!! From moving into Shattuck, our time on the Fire Department, years working together at Ford Motor Credit, to you being a brother to Pam and I, also a super Uncle to Megan and Candice, but most of all being my best friend!.
I thank you for being there through my car accident, Loving my sister Char, Steve, Lori and Kelli for all those years.
It is time to be out of pain and shine over us!.
Love

Bill was always my BIG brother. I hated to see his suffering in his last years, of course, but the myriad memories of a wonderful childhood filled with solid family traditions served as a buffer to the realities of growing older.
He taught me a lot about life, employed me periodically when I needed money, helped keep me in transportation when that was needed! What more could a "little" brother ask?
Charlene, you were the perfect woman for Will and he always knew it; said it...hard to believe it's been that many years together but we all know time has its way.
Our mother would have quoted some verse from the Bible at a time like this, so I'll give you one last: if there is any meaning to the phrase, "By their fruits you shall know them", my brother died a very wealthy man! Steve, Lori, and Kelli. you all know how justifiably proud your dad was of each of you; his grandchildren were also the lights of his life.
You are gone too soon, Big Brother, but we're all thankful for the time you gave us. Tom

We always enjoyed seeing and visiting with Bill and family at the 'cabin' in Michigan.
We looked forward to hearing where he'd been lately and how the family was doing.
Bill always seemed to really enjoy relaxing 'up north'.

Mrs. Charlene and Kelly, my thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Bill was a wonderful person and I am so grateful to have called him a friend. Always, when I would ask how he was , his response would be " I'm chirpy as I can be"! He will be greatly missed! Hazel Cox Athens, AL 35614.
