Elaine Wilson

Wilson, Elaine (Ackerman) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Ethel Elaine Nelson was born on April 5, 1923 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ora J. and Mary Newell (McDaniel) Nelson. She married Max E. Ackerman and from this union they had four children: Sandra, Maxie, Marsha and Gary. She later married Glenmarr Wilson, he preceded her in death. Elaine loved to travel to her cottage at Pratt Lake in Gladwin making many memories with her family. She was an accomplished painter and also enjoyed reading, crafting, bingo and her lucky trips to the casino. Elaine had a spirit filled life that will be cherished by her family and friends forever. Elaine is survived by her children: Sandy Byron, Marsha Koski and Gary (Shirley) Ackerman; ten grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Maxie Ackerman. FUNERAL: A Private Family Service has been held.
