Terrence Smith

Terrence L. Smith, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was 73 years old. Terrence Louis Smith was born on June 5, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Louis and Elouise (Blondin) Smith. Terrence graduated from St. Mary's High School. Later, he would be an accomplished salesman. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and watching Notre Dame Football. Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters: Colleen (David) Lunt, Heidi Mitchell, and Heather (James Carney) Smith; mother of his children, Barbara Green; eleven grandchildren: Ryan, Simone, Moriah, Gabrielle, Charis, John-Michael, Caitrin, and Gianna Lunt, Sasha and Jeremy Mitchell, and Levon Carney; six siblings: Sheila Smith, Connie Smith, Louanne Smith, Lance Smith, Sean (April) Smith, and Darren Smith. Terrence was preceded in death by his sisters, Sharon Dupuis and Colleen Smith and brother, Dennis Smith. FUNERAL: Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, St. John the Baptist Site, 3431 Jefferson, Carrollton, Michigan. Rev. Fr. James Bessert will officiate. Cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Paul II Catholic Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
