Johnny Greathouse

Passed away on April 12, 2015 at his home. He was 56 years old. Johnny Ray Greathouse was born on February 19, 1959 in Lisbon, Ohio to the late Frank and Angeline (Rickey) Greathouse. He met Sally Reittenbach in 1994 and they have been together for 21 years. John worked as a sanitation driver for the City of Flint, as well, as the City of Saginaw. In his spare time, he and Sally went to the NASCAR races and up north to the cabin at Indian Lake near Tawas. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as, playing video games and wrestling with his grandsons. He loved nothing more than family. Leaves to cherish his wife, Sally; daughter, Cory (Eric) Hill; two grandsons: Riley and Jaxon; one grandson on the way; three brothers: Bill (Sandy), Gary (Kay), and Joe; three sisters: Dorothy (Harry), Patty, and Frankie; sister-in-law, Nancy (Rick) Rummel; brother-in-law, Gary (Cheryl) Plater; and many nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. SERVICE: A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Robert Richards will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 12:00noon until the time service.
