Obituary
Eason, Ronald L of Grayling, formerly of Rochester and Waterford, Michigan passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital. He was 74 years old. Ronald L. Eason was born on June 17, 1940 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Leo and Lois (Scott) Eason. Surviving are two sons and a daughter: Kerry (Tammie) Eason of Madison Heights, Scott (Elizabeth) Eason of Waterford, Darby (Donald) Hawes of Waterford; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Lois Smith and Louise Bolda; two brothers: Jim (Marie) Eason and Danny (Sue) Eason; and a special friend, Teresa Baker. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa McDowell. Honoring Ronald's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will gather with friends to share memories on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Waterford Elks Lodge #810, 2100 Scott Lake Road, Waterford Charter Twp, MI 48328. Military Honors will take place at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Navy Seal Foundation at www.navysealfoundation.org/donations. I'm so sorry for your families loss. I remember the first time meeting your dad. We were going to a grateful dead concert and he gave us the third degree about not smoking and being good. He had his glasses down on the end of his nose and had the deep voice with a stern tone....I was shaking. Then he let out a roar of laughter. My heart sank then did a skip. I thought phew.
