Dashkovitz, Beth of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare-Harrison. She was 62 years old. Beth Ellen Buckner was born September 24, 1952 in Saginaw, MI to Donald and Mary (Griffith) Buckner. She married Verne L. Dashkovitz on April 24, 1982. He survives her. Beth worked for St. Mary's of Michigan Medical Center and MCVI for over 30 years. She was a faithful member of Saginaw First Free Methodist Church, serving on the board and volunteering with the Children's Ministry. Beth is survived by her husband, Verne; son, Nick (fiancée, Rebecca Cobb) Dashkovitz; mother, Mary Buckner; sister, Dawn Buckner; brothers, Josh (Jodi) Buckner and Paul (Sheryl) Buckner; and brother-in-law: Dennis (Carol) Dashkovitz. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Buckner; her infant daughter, Mary Buckner; sister, Kathy Bailey. MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for Beth will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Saginaw First Free Methodist Church, 2625 N. Center Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Joseph W. Cunningham, PhD will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service. Beth's cremated remains will be laid to rest next to her infant daughter in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) Saginaw. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Saginaw First Free Methodist Church. You are an incredible lady. Your faith in God was contagious. Thank you for all the heartfelt talks and encouragement you gave me during my trying times. You will be sorely missed by me and all that know you! May God be there for your family to comfort them and give them peace knowing you are with your heavenly father. Beth is my cousin that I love like a sister. We share lots of memories over the years. We raised our kids together, laughed (alot) together, cried together, helped each other when we needed a shoulder to cry on, would call each to share happy things. The years got away from us and I will miss her terribly. I will never forget the weekend she came and spent with me when I first moved up north. I won't forget the times at the cabin when the kids were small. I will never forget how she and Verne were there for me over the years just to love me. I will cherrish you in my heart and we will be together again.

Beth was so kind and loved her family and friends it's with deep sadness for her loved ones that miss her so. Prayers go out to Vern and her loving son the two loves of her life may God comfort you in this time of sorrow . We were all blessed to have know her God Bless...

The very first time I met Beth I fell in love with her. Her smile and the twinkle in her eyes when she saw you was so beautiful. There was never a time when Beth didn't meet someone right where they were at in life. Her heart had enough love in it for the world.
Beth never gave up on life. She always put hope into her life and others.
Beth's love for the Lord was inspiring and full of grace.
To Vern and Nick we share in your grief and the loss of your wife and momma. She's just waiting up in heaven with some major cookies. She and Mike are probably sharing all the family memories.
Beth I hope you know how much you are loved and the incredible legacy you have left.
