Jimmy and Regina, I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. He and I had been emailing for a number of years and all of a sudden he didn't respond to his emails. He was still living in his apartment at the time. I have such fond memories of our family visits to Beaver Falls each year. Your mother was such a good cook and we always had a wonderful meal and fun when we would visit. Your father was a wonderful man - always kind and considerate. I am sorry that I did not know of Dale's passing. I lost my husband to Acute Myleoid Leukemia last year. Please feel free to email me at dianne@poplarforest.org or dkinneynva@aol.com. My 2 daughters and their families live in VA Beach and I spend part of every month visiting them. My sister Eileen and her family live outside of Phila. and my youngest sister, Cheryl, lives close to me in Forest, VA as does her son and his family. She too is a widow. It is a shame that we lost touch with each other over the years but know we have never forgotten your family or the wonderful memories from when we were young. God Bless, Dianne Kinney

I am sorry to hear of Jim's death, but firmly trust that his new life with God will be great. I had a nice visit with Jim shortly before Christmas and will always remember his warm smile, gentle disposition, and good sense of humor. When I first got to St. Pete's, I would greet Jim before Mass by saying, "How do you spell your last name?" He would say, "S-M-Y-T-H-E". You are all in my prayers. Fr. Jack Johnson
