Donna McCarthy

Donna L. (Ryle) McCarthy of Saginaw, Michigan, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 following a lengthy illness. She was 53 years old. Donna Lynn Ryle was born on March 18, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan to William S. and Shirley A. (Stoll) Ryle. Donna graduated from St. Peter and Paul High School, then went on to graduate from Central Michigan University, where she earned her degree in Special Education. Donna worked as a Special Education teacher at Merrill Elementary School until the time of her illness. Surviving besides her parents are son, Kevin (Ashleigh) Ryle of Saginaw; sister, Debra (John) Cook of Saginaw; two brothers: William (Darcy) Ryle, Jr. and James (Candi) Ryle, both of Saginaw; two grandchildren: Leland and Seridea; seven nieces and nephews: Alicia, Tracey, Travis, Melissa, Taylor, Jordyn, and Raven; and Kevin's father, Kevin T. McCarthy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to HealthSource Saginaw and Saginaw Senior Care & Rehab Center. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. James R. Carlson will officiate. Private burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., as well as on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
