Passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 90 years old. "Gerrie" was born on August 27, 1924 in Detroit to her late parents, Alma Deandar and Fred (Mildred) LaBelle. She married Robert D. Davis on July 22, 1944; he preceded her in death in 2007. Surviving are her children and their spouses: Bill, Ron and Jean Davis; grandchildren: Chad Davis, Kai, Cord, Bram and Laeth Siemers; and a great-grandson- Landon Davis. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Bob Tibbits will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant HealthCare. So sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful caring person. Always willing to help everyone while having that great smile. And what a wonderful cook she was. She always made me feel at home. I have 15 years of memories with her as I lived on Eastwood Court. She will be welcomed into Heaven.
