Pauline Boardman

Pauline Esther Boardman of Saginaw Twp. Michigan passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 86 years old. Pauline E. Bandemer was born on May 31, 1928 in Grosse Pointe, MI to the late Paul and Maida (Fuhrwerk) Bandemer. She married Floyd S. "Woody" Boardman on April 11, 1953 in Grosse Pointe. He survives her. Pauline was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She worked for Dr. Ben Mayne as an office assistant, Michigan Consolidated Gas, then volunteering at St. Luke's Hospital. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her family and being involved with all of their activities. She expressed her love for them as a volunteer with the Cub Scouts and Brownies. Pauline spent countless hours at her cottage in Mancelona, tending to her flower gardens and relaxing up north. She is survived by her husband, Floyd; her children: Robert (Susan) Boardman of Grayling, James (Dawn) Boardman, of Saginaw and Karen Boardman-Moore of Harrison Twp.; grandchildren: A.J., Matt, Hayley, Aaron, Laura, Hanna and Logan; three great granddaughters, Kylie, Kenzie and Ruby; sister-in-law, Louise Bandemer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond and sister, Joyce. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Pauline will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Mark Buckert will officiate. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
